MAPLE LEAF JUNIOR GOLF TOUR TO SEND CANADIAN CONTINGENT
TO INTERNATIONAL MATCH PLAY IN MEXICO

Vancouver, B.C. ? The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) held its first qualifier for the Canadian contingent in the third annual International Junior Golf Team Matches in Mexico this past weekend, at the Links at Boundary Bay Golf Course in Delta, B.C.

The competitive field in the two-day tournament, which was sponsored by Cattermole Timber, enjoyed a superbly conditioned golf course but faced challenging winds off the ocean at Boundary Bay. The event was to qualify at least one player aged 18 or under for a spot on the Maple Leaf Team to the International Junior Golf Team Matches at Los Colinas Golf Club in Cuernavaca, Mexico, this August.
