Zebediak, McIntyre, Kesterke and Vetesnik take titles at MJT’s Teulon stop

Teulon, MB – (July 28, 2012) – The final round of the two-day Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) tournament at teulon Golf Club in Teulon, MB, on July 26-27 saw great weather with a high of 26 degrees Celcius, and some good scoring in the four divisions among the full field of competitive young golfers.

Brett Zdebiak, 19, of Gimli, MB, and Links at the Lake Golf Club, won his first MJT title after firing 75-73 (148), taking low overall and the Boys 17-19 gold medal. “My highlight was starting five under through the first five holes on the back,” said Zbediak. “Jordan (Sinclair) was playing great. I had to make pars to stay ahead. It feels great (to win) after being in contention at the last tourney.”
