Elk Ridge Resort Challenges Players at MJT’s Saskatchewan Finale
Waskesiu Lake, SK – (August 29, 2011) – The idyllic setting of Elk Ridge Resort, a tough tree-lined course adjacent to Saskatchewan’s Prince Albert National Park, was the site of the final 2011 Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour stop for the province this season, which played out over August 27 and 28 in Waskesiu.
The low overall junior was 18-year-old Preston Rindal of Prince Albert, SK, who won the Boys 17-19 Division by five strokes over his nearest competitor (75+70=145). “I play the MJT to see where I sit with the elite juniors in the province and it feels great to come out on top in my last junior tournament. I didn’t lose a ball and putted really well,” commented Rindal.
