LEMAY’S 68 LOW OVERALL ON MJT’S ONE DAY FALL SERIES AT BRAEBEN

Mississauga, ON - (October 4, 2010) – A cold and breezy day on the links at BraeBen Golf Club in Mississauga on Saturday October 2nd yielded a fine four-under-par total from 14-year-old Matt LeMay of Waterloo, who won the Boys 14-16 division and low overall at the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s (MJT) One Day Fall Series stop at the course.

LeMay fired 68 to beat Jake McNulty, 15, of Port Perry, and Tyler Schepens, 16, of London, who tied for second place in the division after shooting 79. “I feel great about how I performed today making seven birdies,” said LeMay. “My chip in on the 15th hole was a highlight. My goals in the off-season are to continue to refine my short game to produce more par or better scores in 2011.”
