SURREY, BC – Superb fall weather was enjoyed by a full field of competitive junior golfers in a fitting finale to the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s (MJT) British Columbia Fall Series, held at Northview Golf Club in Surrey on Saturday, October 11th.
Kevin Kwon, 13, of Coquitlam, closed out the season the way he began it, racking up his fourth Boys 13 and under title and cementing his status as the MJT Cleveland Golf Player of the Year for this division. Kwon, who moves up to the Boys 14-16 division next April, shot a 71 to run away with the win. David Cui, 12, of Richmond, carded 82 to place second and Jae Hoon Kim, 11, of Surrey, paced third with a score of 83.
