The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) staged the inaugural MJT National Tour Challenge presented by Canada Life at Sawmill Golf Course in Fenwick, ON, from September 12–14, 2025. The 54-hole, WAGR-ranked championship brought together 88 of Canada’s top junior golfers aged 19U from seven provinces, competing across five divisions in near-perfect weather. Impeccable course conditions and outstanding hospitality set the stage for three memorable rounds, which also featured an exciting Foresight Sports Canada equipment activation on Friday. Players were vying for outstanding prizes, division titles, and direct qualifying spots in both the 2026 FCG World Championship (female) and the 2026 Junior Dubai Desert Classic (male), making this new event a premier highlight on the MJT schedule.

Both secured coveted qualifying spots into prestigious international events.
Adding to the excitement, round three featured a spectacular hole-in-one by Ethan Tan, 14, of Oakville, ON, on the par-3 third hole, en route to a respectable sixth-place finish in the MJT Bantam Boys division. The drama continued in the MJT Girls U15 division, where Oakville’s Grace (HyunYi) Kim, 13, and Richmond Hill’s Mona Zhao, 13, tied at 238 after 54 holes.
