Kingswood hosts the final MJT Mini Tour event in the region; Nicholson claims his fourth title

A huge field of 67 junior golfers came out to compete on Canada’s number one-played Junior Tour in Fredericton, NB, this past weekend, in either a two-day Junior Tour (19U) event on August 5-6, or a one-day Mini Tour (12U) event on August 5 only. Results from the Mini Tour (U13) stop at Kingswood Resort, a superb venue in the region to host the non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour, are highlighted here.

A small but talented field competed this week at the Kingswood Resort in Fredericton, New Brunswick, where players battled out for Division titles in three divisions.  Tristan Breault of Dieppe played consistent golf, Borden Nicholson, 10, of Pictou, NS, posted the low round in the MJT Boys 9-10 and Owen San Martin, 11, of Melville, SK, made the long journey worthwhile by narrowly defeating his nearest competitor.

This is the final Mini Tour event in the region, we would like to thank you for all your support this season.  More information on the MJT Mini Tour National Championship, click here, or to see all results from the 2023 Atlantic Canada Mini Tour season, click here.
