Kreklewich goes low in MJT Mini Tour’s Estevan stop; four qualify for Nationals

Gusting winds made the already difficult Estevan Woodlawn Golf Club in Estevan a bit more tricky for the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s Saskatchewan season-opener this past weekend, where both a Junior (19U) and Mini Tour (12U) event played out.

In the MJT Mini Tour event, four age divisions played 18 holes on May 6 in the first stop of six in the province this 25^th anniversary season. On top of great trophies and prizes, each division winner qualified for the MJT Mini Tour National Championship in Tsawwassen, BC, this August, and local Brooks Cote, 10, of Estevan, was the lucky winner of a $100 gift certificate for golf lessons courtesy the PGA of Saskatchewan.
