ATB partnered with Canada’s number-one played Junior Golf Tour, the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), to host the MJT Future Stars Invitational presented by ATB at The Edmonton Petroleum Golf & Country Club in Edmonton, AB, on June 11-12, 2022, leading into the PGA TOUR Canada tournament week.

The Invitational saw 18 top juniors in Canada qualify to participate in a 36-hole, stroke-play event under PGA TOUR Canada conditions, where they enjoyed a professional tour experience with the chance to win an exemption into the ATB Classic presented by Volvo Edmonton at the Edmonton Petroleum G&CC on the PGA TOUR Canada's schedule from June 16-19, 2022.

All 18 players and families were allowed ‘inside the ropes’ and were treated like PGA TOUR Canada competitors during an incredible weekend.

Logan Graf, 18, of Sylvan Lake, AB, won the MJT Future Stars Invitational after firing 72-70 (142) and as the low qualifier will be making his PGA TOUR Canada debut this coming week.

“This is a really exciting event for junior golf here in Canada that brings a unique opportunity,” stated MJT Future Stars Invitational Winner, Logan Graf. “I was fortunate enough to have my game come together this week and am looking forward to competing in the ATB Classic.”

It was a tie for second between Josiah Tong, 16, of Heritage Pointe, AB (75-70) and Brett Jones, 15, of Calgary, AB (68-77). Both receive exemptions into the MJT National Championship presented by TaylorMade & adidas Golf at Orange County National in Orlando, Florida, this November.

“The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour was really excited to showcase some of the best juniors in the country via this wonderful opportunity offered to our members by ATB,” said Trent Matson, MJT National Operations Director. “Many MJT members aspire to play professionally one day, so it is a big moment to get this custom PGA TOUR Canada experience and then have one of them actually have the opportunity to play in a professional tournament with PGA TOUR Canada.”
