MJT Mini Tour at Turnberry qualifies six for MJT Mini Tour National Championship; Chu and Andrusyk Low Overall

Tournament Highlights:
- Canada’s number-one played Junior Golf Tour, the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour, held the MJT Mini Tour at Turnberry Golf Club in Brampton, ON, July 28, where young golfers competed for titles in six divisions and the chance to qualify for the MJT Mini Tour National Championship in British Columbia in late August.
- Justin Chu, 12, of North York, ON, fired a round of 58, finishing two-over-par and claiming his second MJT Boys 11-12 title this year.
- The MJT Girls 11-12 division was won by Regan Andrusyk, 12, of Hamilton, ON, who bested her next competitor by eight strokes, winning for the second time in her last three events.
- Derek Zhao, 8, of Maple, ON, battled it out for first in the MJT Boys 9-10 division, finishing with a score of 66 to win by three strokes. Zhao has been on a run as he has won all four of his starts on the MJT Mini Tour this season
- Finishing the tournament with a score of 86, Gemma Pickett, 10, of Campbellville, ON, took the MJT Girls 9-10 division title.
- Lewis Jiang, 8, of Etobicoke, ON, shot 80 to win the MJT Boys 8U division title.
- Miller Brodie, 8, of Clarksburg, ON, came out to shoot 102 in the MJT Girls 8U division.
