Five divisional winners crowned in MJT’s Moon Lake Mini Tour stop

Tournament Highlights:
- Canada’s number-one played Junior Golf Tour, the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour, stopped in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, on July 25-26, hosting both Mini (12U) and Junior (U19) Tour stops with close to 150 competitive young golfers taking part altogether.
- In the 12U event on July 25, the MJT Mini Tour at Moon Lake Golf and Country Club, a full field young players competed for titles in five divisions in briefly stormy conditions.
- Saskatoon home-town golfer, Ty Nochowny, 11, battled it out for first in a stacked MJT Boys 11-12 division, and came out on top with a round of 80, notching his first win in the 2022 season.
- The MJT Boys 9-10 division came down to a tie for first between Keaton Kreklewich, 10, of Melville, SK, and Jun Lee, 9, of Regina, SK, after both shot incredible rounds of 70.
- Hudson Deibert, 7, of Regina, SK, edged out a one-stroke victory in the competitive MJT Boys 8U division with a score of 94.
- Alyxa Melsted, 9, of Wynyard, SK, came out on top of the MJT Girls 9-10 division, and finished with a sizeable lead between her and second place.
- Miranda Merriman, 12, of La Ronge, SK, took the MJT Girls 11-12 division title over fellow La Ronge player, Ciara Carr.
