MJT Humber College PGM Series huge success at world class Fox Harb’r Resort

Tournament Highlights:
- Canada’s number one-played Junior Golf Tour stopped in Nova Scotia on August 16 and 17 to host a packed field of young golfers in the two-day MJT Humber College PGM Atlantic Championship at Fox Harb'r Resort, a major order of merit points event, where points earned go towards qualification for the MJT National Championship in Orlando, FL, this November.
- Despite inclement weather on day two, the successful tournament saw Brady Wood, 17, of Fredericton, NB, place first in the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s Junior Boys division after firing scores of 70-80 for a five-stroke victory over three players tied for second place. Happy to secure his first MJT win of 2022, Wood’s also earned the low overall boy’s score for the event.
- The MJT Juvenile Boys winner was Simon Mullen, 16, of Shortts Lake, NS, who carded scores of 74-82 for a three-stroke lead over runner-up in his division.
- Among MJT Bantam Boys, Elliott Mullen, 14, of Shortts Lake, NS, joined his brother, Simon, as a winner by securing a division title as well. Elliott edged out a three-stroke victory with scores of 75-80.
- Riley Partington, 14, of Fredericton, NB, won the MJT U15 Girls division in style with solid scores of 83-87, notching up her very first MJT title.
- Rounds of 77-82 created a seven-stroke victory for Carter Lavigne, 12, of Moncton, NB, handing him the MJT Peewee Boys division title.
- In the MJT Girls 15-19 division, Jadian Eisenhauer, 16, of Falmouth, NS, came out to shoot 89-94.
- Winners of the Long Drive, Closest to the Pin, Booster Juice BounceBack and draw prize recipients are posted on the website.

One of my highlights was on hole five on the second round, I had 160 yards to the pin into a stiff wind and in the pouring rain… I put it to four feet and made the putt for birdie. Even when it was coming down to the wire, and the weather wasn’t in our favour, I just kept the pressure off myself.”
