Guelph’s Weber goes six under in MJT Ontario Series at Guelph Lakes; Woo wins low overall girls title

Tournament Highlights:
- Canada’s number-one played Junior Golf Tour stopped in Guelph for the MJT Ontario Series at Guelph Lakes Golf Club, where elite young golfers competed for titles in six age divisions along with Order of Merit points to qualify for the MJT National Championship in Orlando this November.
- Guelph local, Dylan Weber, 17, won the MJT Junior Boys title after going low with excellent rounds of 68 and 68, finishing at an excellent six-under-par for the event and securing the low overall boys title.
- The MJT Girls 15-19 division winner was Stephanie Woo, 15, of Toronto, ON, who fired rounds of 76-75 to run away with the low overall girls title.
- Claiming the MJT Juvenile Boys division’s top spot was Spencer Cranley, 16, of Napanee, ON, who finished three strokes ahead of his next competitor with fine rounds of 75-72.
- Winner of the MJT Bantam Boys title was Brayden Card, 13, of Cambridge, ON, who shot 72,79 for a seven stroke victory.
- Callum McDonald, 12, of Mount Forest, ON, carded 83-81 for victory in MJT Peewee Boys division.
- And finally, Xinyun Ye, 13, of Oakville, ON, came out to her very first MJT event and shot 96 and 99 in the MJT U15 Girls division.
