Weber and Barker win low overall titles at MJT’s Galt Country Club Summer Classic

Tournament Highlights:
- Canada’s number-one played Junior Golf Tour, the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour, visited Cambridge, Ontario, for the MJT Summer Classic, July 18-19, where golfers played two rounds for overall titles at the ultra-private Galt Country Club.
- Dylan Weber, 17, of Guelph, ON, enjoyed his home course advantage and went low with rounds of 66-72=138 to finish at two-under-par, claiming the MJT Junior Boys and low overall titles for his second MJT event in a row.
- MJT Girls 15-19 division winner and low overall girl champion, Abby Barker, 17, of Kitchener, ON, finished with a solid two round total of 164.
- Xavier Bernier, 15, of Kitchener, ON, battled it out for first in a stacked MJT Juvenile Boys division, and came out on top on his home course with fine scores of 73-74=147.
- Finishing the tournament with scores of 73-71=144, Elliana Buhagiar, 12, of Bowmanville, ON, claimed victory in the MJT Girls U15 division, besting her nearest competitor by 13 shots.
- Jiapeng Lu, 13, of Markham, ON, earned a win in the MJT Bantam Boys division by a playoff, and finished with total score of 154.
- Zack Clark, 11, of St Thomas, ON, shot 86,91=177 to win the MJT Peewee Boys division title.
