Qualifying Process

The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour will qualify 4 boys aged 15-18 to play for MJT Team Canada for this high-level international experience.  Players will be shortlisted from qualifiers in each province to determine the 4 lowest based on rating and score.

Tournament Itinerary / Host Information

The 2018 Nordic Junior Team Matches will be played between 4 countries (Canada – Estonia – Finland – Sweden) and contested at Öijared Resort, Sweden from August 27-30, 2019.

The MJT partially subsidizes the following for players in the Nordic Junior Team Matches:

• Ground transportation in Sweden
• Accommodation
• Transport to the tournament facility
• Meals on tournament days
• Tournament Entry Fees
• All range fees associated with the event
• MJT Team Canada uniform
• MJT Team Canada Golf Bag
• All chaperone costs

Format will be same each day and ranked by World Amateur Golf Ranking (WAGR).

All teams will play 4 singles matches each day against another country.   There will be a ballot about order of play after practice round on August 27.

Travel / Accommodation Information

The MJT will coordinate travel between chaperone and all players who will travel from Canada to Landvetter in Gothenburg (approximately 30 minutes from host facility).
