For Immediate Release – Cambridge, ON – (October 21, 2012) – The Boston Pizza-presented Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) Ontario Fall One Day Series continued this past Saturday, October 20th, at Cambridge Golf Club in Cambridge, Ontario, where Brett Kudoba, 18, of Kitchener, ON, captured top spot shooting 73 in the MJT Boys 17-19 Division - a one shot victory. “It is fantastic to win my first event in my last event as a junior,” said Kudoba, “I made a five foot par-saving putt on the final hole to win.”

In the other three divisions, Wesley Day, 16, of Ajax, ON, shot 76 to claim a three shot victory in Boys 14-16. “My key to victory was my steady play,” he said. “I only made one birdie today, so multiple pars were great.” In the Girls Division, 13-year old Jennifer Yoon of Oakville, ON, played solid golf firing 83, and ‘was happy to get a win after a long drought this season.’ Nicholas Kyriakou, 13, of Waterloo, ON, was low in the Boys 13 & Under Division (81), where his highlight was ‘winning today, as I do not win many tournaments.’

Skills contest divisional winners were Jeffrey So of North York, ON, Josh Montgomery of Ancaster, ON, Taylor Tompkins of Hamilton, ON, and Alexandra Garcia of Kitchener in the Mr. Lube Long Drive Competition, and in the Sundog Eyewear Closest-to-the-Pin they were Eli Matthew of Waterloo, Brad Golding of Cambridge, Matthew Didiano of Mississauga, ON, and Alexandra Garcia.
