GILBERT GAINS QUEBEC EXEMPTION INTO MJT NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP

St-Basile-le-Grand, QC ? The inaugural Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) tournament in Quebec concluded last week at the Club de Golf Rive-Sud in St-Basile-le-Grand, where 15-year-old Max Gilbert of St. Georges closed with an excellent 71 to finish at 151 total score and win the Boys 15 and up division and low overall tournament score.

Gilbert receives a special exemption into the MJT Boston Pizza National Tour Championship at the Fairmont Banff Springs Golf Club in Banff, Alberta,
September 10-11, which is by invitation only. The rest of the field in this prestigious championship qualifies through their order of merit on the
non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour.
