The Maple Leaf Junior Tour and CKG Tour are co-hosting a major junior tournament, the Canada International Friendship Cup, which is to be held at beautiful Northview Golf & Country Club in Surrey, BC on August 20, 21 & 22. There will be four teams in this international event for boys 9 - 18 and girls 10 - 18. A modified Ryder-Cup style format will be used.

2008 Qualifying Sites:
Twelve junior golfers between9/10 - 18 will be qualified to represent Canada with exemptions to be awarded at the following qualifying sites:

Entry Fee: $220.00/player

Players can raise funds for their expenses - click here for Pledge Form. NOTE: The Rules of Amateur Status stipulate that juniors may receive funding providing the funds received do not exceed expenses for the event.

Highlights

International tournaments provide an excellent opportunity for junior golfers to expand their golf resumes for future opportunities including scholarship applications for post-secondary education.
