MJT Ontario Series at Willow Valley GC

July 21-22, 2008
Hamilton, ON

HAMILTON, ONTARIO – A brief rain delay failed to dampen the mood at Willow Valley Golf Club in Mount Hope as the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour’s (MJT) Ontario Series continued with a double qualifier on July 21st and 22nd, with spots up for grabs into the Canada International Friendship Cup (CIFC) in British Columbia and the CAN-USA Team Matches in Arizona.

The field of young golfers faced tough competition with some fine scores recorded, both on paper and by Olympus, the official camera of the MJT. “The special offering on site by Olympus of top camera equipment for use by the spectators was a huge hit,” said MJT Tournament Director, Dave Smallwood, “especially with the parents being able to take home memory cards of their recordings.”
