Qualifying Information

There are 6 qualifying sites across the country that will shortlist players according to lowest score in relation to par, slope and rating, earning the coveted spot in each age division from all qualifying locations. All qualified players will receive major funding from both the MJT and the Jack Newton Junior Golf.

The MJT and the JNJG subsidize the following for players:

• Ground transportation from Sydney International Airport
• Accommodation in Australia (Sydney / Hunter Valley)
• Transport to the tournament facility
• Meals on all 8 days - sightseeing and tournament days
• Tournament Entry Fees including pull cart
• All range fees associated with the event
• MJT Team Canada uniform (MJT Team Canada hat, shirts, outerwear piece)
• MJT Team Canada Golf Bag (players to keep following the event)
• All chaperone costs

Jack Newton International Junior Classic

An incredible life experience, the MJT is proud to qualify players and chaperone them to play in the 2019 Jack Newton International Junior Classic.

The Jack Newton International Junior Classic is a 72 hole stroke-play event (with no cut) and will be played on the Cypress Lakes Golf and Country Club for the first time. The MJT will qualify a maximum of 5 players (3 males / 2 females) to compete in this major Australian junior golf tournament which is an incredible golf and life experience brought together down under.
