Qualifying Process

The MJT will qualify the following players for 2017:

Age 7-8              2         2               * Mini Tour (BC / ON only) - direct qualifier
Age 9-10           2         2                * Mini Tour (BC/ON only) - direct qualifier
Age 11-12        1         2                * MJT Junior Tour - Peewee Division (shortlisted positions)
Age 13-14        1         2                * MJT Junior Tour (shortlisted positions)
Age 15-18        1         1                * MJT Junior Tour (shortlisted positions)

SHORT-LISTED POSITIONS: Each qualifier (there are 5 qualifying sites) will shortlist players in the above divisions for the IMG Academy Junior Worlds Golf Championship in San Diego, California.  The finalists will be chosen according to lowest score in relation to par, slope and rating, earning the coveted spot in each age division.  

Players must compete for the spot for the age they will be on July 14, 2017 (all ages except 15-18 date is June 14, 2017) : e.g. If a player aged 12 right now will be 13 as at July 14/15, 2017, he/she needs to qualify for the 13 year old spot (e.g. cannot qualify for a 12 year old spot now and then play months later as a 13 year old).
