MJT Junior America’s Cup Teams announced for Alberta and British Columbia

Canada’s number one-played Junior Tour, the non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), is pleased to announce Teams Alberta and British Columbia for the 51st playing of the Junior America’s Cup.  

The Junior America’s Cup (JAC) brings together an elite field of 18 teams comprised of the top four boys to represent 12 States, two Canadian Provinces, and Mexico.  Team results are based on the lowest three gross scores of the four team members.  Players also compete for low individual medalist honors. This year’s event, the 51st annual, is to be hosted by Red Hawk Golf & Resort (Lakes Course) in Sparks, Nevada, from July 30 through August 3.

The qualifying criteria for the Canadian teams is posted on the MJT website here. The players selected for 2023 MJT Team British Columbia are as follows:

Joshua Ince, Surrey, BC
Eric Joo, Coquitlam, BC
Manu Gandhi, West Vancouver, BC
Justin Bjornson, Surrey, BC
 

The qualified players selected for 2023 MJT Team Alberta are as follows:

Tate Bruggeman, Edmonton, AB
Josiah Tong, Heritage Pointe, AB
Kye Fisher, Leduc, AB
Jaiden Koonar, Calgary, AB
