Vancouver, BC – (June 17, 2022) – The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT), Canada’s number-one played Junior Golf Tour, is delighted to announce renewed sponsorship of the MJT Scholarship Program by Herrendorf Family Foundation (HFF) in 2022.

The Herrendorf Family Foundation invests in strategic partnerships with global change leaders. Together, they advocate for education, empowerment and generational resilience. In 2021, Herrendorf Family Foundation launched their wrap-around umbrella, "We Got You”, which includes scholarships, emergency grants, support for mothers, contributing partnerships and community engagement.

A donation of $15,000 from Herrendorf Family Foundation to the MJT will be allocated in the form of twelve $1,000 Scholarships and $3,000 towards a fund for supporting players who qualify for assistance with their expenses of participation on the program. The Scholarships are to be awarded to MJT members who show exemplary athletic, educational and personal achievements. The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour has an extensive alumni who have benefitted from past financial assistance with their post-secondary endeavours and this support in 2022 from Herrendorf Family Foundation is invaluable towards supporting the on-going development of young Canadian athletes.
