MJT offers both Junior and Mini Tour events at Chinook Golf Course in Swift Current, June 22 and 23

Swift Current, SK – (June 7, 2019) – The Boston Pizza-presented Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour heads back to Swift Current, SK, on June 22 and 23, to host both a Junior Tour and a Mini Tour stop for young players, covering ages seven all the way through to 23.

Competitive juniors aged 11 to 23 can play in the two-day MJT Golf Saskatchewan Order of Merit Series presented by Ilta Grain on June 22 and 23, which also offers a qualifier for MJT Team Canada to Sweden, where the 2019 Nordic Team Matches are being held later this summer.

Meanwhile, the MJT Mini Tour makes its 2019 Saskatchewan debut at Chinook Golf Course on June 22. Young golfers aged six to 12 are invited to register for this one-day event in order to experience a fun introduction to competitive golf. The event will run in conjunction with round one of the MJT Junior Tour event.

Located along the Swift Current Creek, Chinook Golf Course provides an 18-hole challenge with spectacular sights on one of the best maintained golf courses in Saskatchewan. The deadline to sign up for both events is Wednesday June 19;  registration is online on the MJT website.

As Canada’s number one-played Junior Tour, the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour encourages young golfers to play in professionally run tournaments with the objective of improving skills through competition.
