MJT Ontario circuit expands to 20 events in 2019

Next stop is at Hidden Lake Golf Club for Humber College PGM Classic

 

Burlington, ON – (May 3, 2019) – Two weeks after the successful Ontario season opener at Galt Country Club in Cambridge, the Boston Pizza-presented Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) will make its second stop in the province in Burlington with the MJT Humber College PGM Classic at Hidden Lake Golf Club on May 11 and 12, and juniors golfers are invited to register on the MJT website.   

The upcoming event at Hidden Lake Golf Club, which also plays host to the GLT Shootout and the Southern Ontario Open on the Great Lakes Tour later in the summer, will continue the spectacular opportunities for competition on the largest schedule to date for the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour in Ontario.

The next few stops run at Lakeridge Links Golf Club in Brooklin on May 25 and 26, Mystic Golf Club in Ancaster on June 1 and 2, Rebel Creek Golf Club in Petersburg on June 15 and 16, and Spring Lakes Golf Club in Stouffville on June 22 and 23. The Junior  and Collegiate Tour for 11 to 23 year olds continues right through September.

For players aged 12 and under, the MJT Mini Tour’s five-event series starts May 18 with a major qualifier for the IMG Academy Junior Worlds, US Kids Golf (USKG) World Championship and Future Champions Golf (FCG) Callaway World Championship Qualifiers at Merry-Hill Golf Club in Breslau.

As Canada’s number one-played Junior Tour, the Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour encourages young golfers to play in professionally-run tournaments with the objective of improving skills through competition. About the MJT: The non-profit Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour presented by Boston Pizza is Canada’s number one-played Junior Golf Tour as well as the only national junior tour run exclusively by PGA of Canada Professionals and the ‘Road to College Golf’ in Canada.
