MJT Partnership with Jim McLean/Future Collegians World Tour
For Immediate Release March 11, 2004VANCOUVER, BC: The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour (MJT) is pleased to announce a partnership with the Jim McLean/Future Collegians World Tour (FCWT), the second largest junior golf organization in the United States.
The Maple Leaf Junior Golf Tour, now in its sixth season, is Canada?s only major junior golf tour run by Golf Professionals and will conduct 30 multi-day tournaments across the country in 2004. The FCWT Junior Golf Tour is the premier junior golf tour in America for fall, winter and spring golf presenting a venue of over 60 nationally-ranked junior golf tournaments.
Boys and girls in Canada ages 11 through 18 are able now to take advantage of reciprocal memberships in both the MJT and the FCWT, and a number of MJT members will receive exemptions into the FCWT National Championship for Boys at PGA West TPC Stadium Golf Course in La Quinta, CA, May 18-21, 2004.
Designed by Pete Dye and ranked in The 100 Greatest Courses in the U.S. by Golf Magazine, the TPC? Stadium Golf Course has been the site of many high-profile events, including The Skins Game, The Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, The Liberty Mutual Legends of Golf, and the PGA Grand Slam of Golf.
