More Strong Showings Internationally by MJT Members

MJT members had strong showings at the Callaway Golf Junior World Championships.
MJT members Richard Lee and Jonnie Motomochi had terrific performances in the 13-14 age division over the 54 holes held on the Par 72 Ivanhoe Course at Cottonwood GC. Motomochi had a share of the lead with Thailand's Anujit Hirunatankorn carding a 65 in round one. Lee shot 69 in round one and backed it up with a smooth 66 in round 2 to sit at -9. Hirunatankorn shot 67 in round two to go to -12 while Motomochi shot 70 to tie Lee in second at -9. The young man from Thailand took a 3 shot lead over both Motomochi and Lee into the final round. A solid 2 under par 70 was good enough to take first place with Lee and Motomochi shooting 71 and 72 to finish in second and third positions respectively. Other MJT notables include Eugene Wong who tied for 12th scoring 71,72, 76 =219 and Dong Su who shot 75,74,74=223. Reid Martin of Mulkiteo WA missed the cut.
