The ultimate reward for members on
the Tour this season will be the 54-hole Tour Championship
at Peace Portal Golf Club, a fine quality facility renown
for hosting top championships. A select, qualified field of
60 players will compete for the coveted Hoselton trophies
for the Tour Champions in each age division.
Official Airline of the WCJGT, Air BC/Air Canada Regional
will fly in qualified players from the furthest destinations
to Vancouver for this event. The added bonus is that these
players are then already “in town” for their spot in the
second annual WCJGT Invitational at the Air Canada
Championship, Northview G&CC, August 31-September 1, 2002.
Invitations to participate in this tournament come with free
passes for the PGA Tour event, including VIP parking.
Participation in the WCJGT Tour Championship is by
invitation, subject to the Callaway Order of Merit point
rating.
Callaway Order of Merit point rating calculation: the total
of points from the player’s top 4 finishes, divided by 4.
If the player participates in less than 4 events, their
total points are still divided by 4. |
